A Minecraft SMP, powered by TikTok
TTSMP is a small, curated Minecraft community where streamers and their TikTok audiences play together in real time. When a streamer goes Live on TikTok, every gift their viewers send fires an action inside Minecraft — a mob spawns, lightning strikes, an item drops on their character. The chat doesn't just react to the stream; it shapes it.
What you can do here
- Stream on TikTok with real reactions. Link your account once with
/tiktok linkand your gifts route to your in-game character automatically. - Hang out as a viewer-ghost. If you're not on the streamer roster you spawn invisibly and can't disturb the streamers — perfect for watching the world from inside the game while a creator plays.
- Help design the gifts. The gift catalogue is admin-curated and we add new effects regularly based on community ideas.
How the integration works
A small Node.js bridge connects to the TikTok Webcast API the moment a linked streamer goes Live. Gift events fly across a WebSocket to the Paper plugin, which routes the action to the right player. The whole loop is <200 ms from a viewer hitting "send" on TikTok to a zombie spawning on the streamer's screen.
Server etiquette
- Don't grief streamers. Ghost mode is on for non-streamers for a reason — don't try to break it.
- No slurs, harassment, or anything that would get the host's TikTok account banned.
- The world is shared. Mobs spawned by gifts can damage builds — that's the point. Build accordingly.
